Since I was little I have dreamed of studying a postgraduate degree when I finish university, one that helps me deepen in sociology or specialize in some area of ​​it. I am still not sure which magister I would like to do, but I do know some topics that I would like to study in depth, such as migration and poverty. I also really like economics, so I researched courses in that subject. Some examples are "Master of Migration Studies" in San Francisco and "Policy and Practice of Migration Studies" in the Buckinghamshire University in UK. I would like to study abroad, in any country, but if I had to choose I would love to study in Spain or London. After this time in a pandemic and with an online university, I definitely do not want it to be distance education, but a modality that allows me to go to classes and then visit and get to know the place.

One of the artists that I admire is Violeta Parra, who is a renowned Chilean popular singer-songwriter, recognized as one of the main folklorists in Latin America. Violeta was born on October 4, 1917 and passed away on February 5, 1967. I got to know her music when I was very little, since my parents had many CDs of her. Violeta Parra published several albums during her life, but my favorite is “Gracias a la Vida”, which has songs like “Volver a los 17” that inspire me a lot.                                       What I like the most about her is that her works transcend to this day and represent Chilean country music and folklore. He has definitely been an inspiration to many more artists and made a great contribution to Chilean art.
